Friends of the
Weehawken Waterfront is sponsoring a public planning workshop to work on the Community
Plan. This is a plan for the Weehawken Waterfront that was created with the help of
architect and urban planner Craig Whitaker. It is very important to us to get a broad
based consensus on the Community Plan. We welcome your input. This meeting is an
opportunity for all Weehawken residents to comment on your preferences for waterfront
development. Craig will listen to your comments and make refinements to the plan.
Some of the major themes of the Community Plan are preservation of all views from Blvd
East, a continuous public park along the waterfront, maintain Weehawken's neighborhood
